Surveying & Sampling Refresher
Asbestos Surveying & Sampling Refresher
This course is aimed at existing asbestos surveyors previously qualified and holders of a equivalent asbestos surveying qualification i.e. S301.
This course has been designed to meet the requirements on employers under the Control of Asbestos Regulations, Regulation 10, which now require annual refresher training to all who work with asbestos.
“Refresher training should be carried out on an annual basis for those whose work regularly disturbs asbestos; the training should be appropriate to the role undertaken”
As Surveyors regularly work on and disturb asbestos containing materials, their work would fall under this definition and as such would be required to refresh their training annually.
The course content is determined by the use of a training needs analysis to ascertain the knowledge of the delegates, highlighting areas which require additional information.
